Victini and Keldeo Reference

I'm sort of procrastinating before the mess that will be Reshiram and Zekrom, but it's a fun kind of procrastinating. Both of these characters play little to no part in the over branching storylines, and serve as more background fodder (though Victini does have a part to play in the Reshiram and Zekrom story). Next up, Reshiram and Zekrom, yippie. If I'm not back on dA in 48 hours assume I died from trying to tackle those complicated ass designs.


    Victini

    Height : 1' 04"

    Weight : 8.8 lbs.

    Ability : Victory Star

    Personality : Once an ally of a powerful Unovian king, Victini is used to a life of pampering and elegance. He's one of the oldest but most forgettable legends, as he never left his region or made contact with other Legendary Pokemon. He did have a brief friendship with Reshiram and Zekrom, both who would later be gifted to the king's sons, but it ended in disaster, and was only made worse after Unova's great war. Victini was key to sealing away the distraught legends and sending them into a millennia of slumber they would never wake up from, and took no guilt in the fact. Coincidentally, he also left soon after, and failed to keep Reshiram's promise of looking after the region lest they fall in battle. Victini is very sociopathic, much like Jirachi, and keeps to himself, rarely leaving the palace where his king used to live. He's even been forgotted by Arceus because of how he lives like a hobbit. Unluckily for him, one Unovian legend has been reading up on mythology, and she's about to expose his betrayal for all the world to see.

    Battle Effectiveness : Victini never fights, and will run from any conflict he finds himself facing. He'll never like to attack and rather, chooses to Endure and trick his opponents out of a proper fight. Despite this, he houses two of the most powerful moves there are, and would have had more if he'd mastered Fusion Bolt and Fusion Flare. However, Reshiram and Zekrom were sealed away before this could happen, and thus he was left without any indication of how to master the moves. There's no doubt that evil would come from it though.

    Special Abilities : Victini, for such a small legend, houses a lot of power. Most of it has to do with the ancient Unova ruins. Many tapestries and wall inscriptions were written in honour of Victini, and thus he can power many of the contraptions. He was able to use this power to remove Reshiram and Zekrom, as well as keep control over Unova's moving castle. Yet, when he's alone and far from the ancient ruins he's as harmless as a Mareep.

    Keldeo

    Height : 4' 07"

    Weight : 106.9 lbs.

    Ability : Justified  

    Personality : Keldeo is an example of life thriving even in the worst of circumstances. She used to be part of a race native to Unova which was hunted for their fur, horns, and tails. It was said that eating the flesh of a Keldeo would grant eternal beauty and happiness, thus humans needlessly hunted them. The population dwindled until the Unova War took out the final dozen of them with the fire that burned down Pinwheel Forest. Keldeo was the sole survivor, and was adopted by the Swords of Justice who fought off the humans seeking to hurt her. When they found Keldeo all of her mane had burned off and she was a feeble little thing, but her lust for adventure and power helped her overcome her insecurities and let her bloom into a Pokemon worthy of approval. Her mentors are all half-legend, but she has no legendary blood in her. All of her accomplishments were gained by her own sweat and blood, which she takes pride in. She's rather bold and immature at times, and this can get in the way of her training, but she still has a heart of justice. Her great grandfather Arceus treats her as if she's truly a legend and part of the family, and it means she attends the council like any other legend. Terrakion is the Sword of Justice she considers most motherly, followed by Virizion and then Cobalion, who is barely in her life.  

                       When Keldeo finally graduated from her training she was gifted her alternate form, Resolute. The only change is that her horn is enlarged, she gains more blue on her body, and she braids three tufts of green, blue, and brown fur in honour of her three mentors Virizion, Cobalion, and Terrakion. She has little interest in taking on a mate and reproducing to continue her species, which means the Keldeo species will go extinct when she dies. Keldeo is not immortal nor half immortal, and will die like any average Pokemon. This is also unlike her mentors, who can only die from physical wounds and not age.

    Battle Effectiveness : Her most valuable asset is her special attack, and most of her moves take advantage of this. She's very offensive oriented and relies a lot on Secret Sword, a move she taught herself in order to impress her mentors. She likes to put distance between herself and her opponent, and use her speed and size to escape any oncoming attacks, even if her defence can handle it. Keldeo only settles minor disputes, and never partakes in Legendary Pokemon battles because of her mothers and father's fear of her dying against opponents much stronger than her.

    Special Abilities : Keldeo, coming from a generic race, has little to no special abilities. The only ones worth noting is being able to walk on water and propel herself forward with concentrated blasts of water.
