Zygarde Reference

Boy do I love doing one man reference sheets. The description for these guys can take over half an hour to write because of the little details so having one lets me really focus. Also, I had no idea that Zygarde only had one eye until like, ten minutes ago.

She was originally supposed to be a snake but then I remembered the dragon typing and switched it up a bit. The other outlines are her cell, core, and 10% form. Yes, I know. 10% is clearly a dog. That works in the Pokemon world, but here, not really. Her cores look exactly like baby snakes/slugs in game so to go from snake to dog to snake would be more than jarring. So she's snake forever. Can't wait to see her 100% form. Ouch baby.

(For the sake of not giving everyone a heart attack I'll only be using the information for the 50% form.) ALSO LETS GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE GUYS I DID IT. WHEN I FIRST STARTED THIS PROJECT IT WAS FROM HO-OH TO ZYGARDE AND I GOT IT DONE. NOW I CAN FINALLY DO THAT CONTEST.

    Personality : Having all the respectable qualities of a legend makes Zygarde a true mother figure. She's one of the only legends wanted and allowed to roam other territory for the purpose of keeping order and balance. Whenever fights break out in the council she's always one to resolve them and come to a reasonable conclusion. She was Xerneas' nanny and was the only legend to give poor Yveltal a chance, teaching the young one about the joys of the world. She is close with both, but is more tolerant of Yveltal's welcoming nature as opposed to Xerneas' stuck up personality. She bonds very well with Rayquaza because of their similar responsibilities, appearance, and typing, which has created a union that can't be denied by any. However, she puts her work above any personal relationships, and expects others to do the same. She is partially disgruntled at the Swords of Justice because of this, and though she acts as a proper "grandmother" she is distant with Xerneas. When both of her counterparts fell asleep after the Kalos War she was left alone to patrol for a millennia, which gave her the idea to check in on other regions and help out. She is now regarded as the Aura Guardian of all regions, and will travel between regions every two weeks to check in and make sure the balance has not been disturbed. Because of this there have been no big conflicts (besides the Burning of the Brass Tower, which she was in Hoenn and too far away to help let alone know about it) since the new era has come to be.

Many want her as a leader instead of Arceus, who is openly paranoid and makes decisions based on personal experience. She has no comment on this, but does have her conflicts with Arceus on a yearly basis. Some say it's where she lost her left eye; after a dispute over Xerneas and his standing in the council. She claims it was from the Ultra Beasts War after a one on one fight with Necrozma. Most older legends back up this theory, though the younger legends still pass on the rumour, to her mild annoyance.

    Battle Effectiveness : Zygarde is credited as being one of the strongest Pokemon alive. She is equal in power to more than half of the Original Dragon, but most of this power makes up her health. She's unstoppable in battle because of said health, and her stamina means she can keep going for hours at a time. She prefers to stay away from conflict, but all of her moves are extraordinary in power and give her the advantage over any kind of opponent she may face. The only weakness she has is when she uses up too much power that she loses her shape and becomes a mess of cores and cells as she tries to regain it back from the ecosystem.

    Special Abilities : Zygarde has one of the most important roles of all; monitoring Necrozma. After falling asleep under Arceus' power she sealed him underneath the ground, never to wake. She is required to check back on Alola's territory every 16 weeks to make sure he hasn't been disturbed. She can split up her physical form to become a set of cores and cells, which she will do when first checking in on a region. The cells are hypersensitive to aura and report back to the cores. (She has 95 cells and 5 cores; cores have a personality and conscience while cells are parts of her body) She has a constant overview of a region's ecosystem and can sense when a region doesn't have enough legends to sustain itself. In any form, she is fast enough to move at 60 mph. If she is weak she can drain the ecosystem of its power and transform into a stronger forme, though she despises taking advantage of something she should protect and normally stays away unless dire. Her ability is unique, and stops not only Xerneas and Yveltal, but most legends from getting too fired up or accessing large sums of power.
